Ushuaia hiking

Had planned to get up a bit early in the morning to check out the weather and decide whether or not to go to the national park for a hike. Instead it went like it does when we're travelling. Got out of bed at 9, made the decision at 9:55 - picked up at 10:00 and spent an hour driving to the first stop in the national park.

Walked all morning - got to the visitors centre at around 2 in the afternoon, had a beer in the sunshine on the deck outside before taking an extra 2 hour hike to a place with an active beaver colony. No beavers though when we were there. Hiked back to visitors centre not certain when the last bus would leave. 

Got back to the hostel and cooked food, enjoyed a nice bottle of red wine and the fact the we were tired. Looong day of walking makes you go to bed early.
