Trinidad here we come

Said farewell to Anders in the morning before catching the bus at 7:00. Sun hadn’t really come up at that time, so we enjoyed to sun rise as we drove over the hills outside Vinales. Non-stop bus to Trinidad and plenty to look at on the way. Managed to get to Trinidad late in the afternoon and found a place to stay – yet another casa where they had a nice court yard. Asked for drinks and the husband who was the local doctor – was called home from work to take care of the bar. Had drinks and beers before taking a short walk in town – and then dinner.

Decided to go out to the local “casa de la musica” which was a open plaza in town where they played live music. Lots and lots of tourists. Easy to spot the difference between Vinales and Trinidad J.

Oh, yes, I almost forgot todays bizzaro experiences. The first one was when the bus pulled over for a lunch break and we realised that we had stopped in a small “zoo” right next to the highway. Frederik was offered to sit on a bull – and hold two small crocodiles at the same time. How often have you tried that? And number two. Being asked by a guy in Trinidad about whether I wanted to buy some cigars – by a guy wearing an “I Form Kvindeløb T-shirt”. He obviously did not know what he was advertising for. He was just happy for ½ CUC for a photo J
