Hungover Havana

Slow morning. Felt hung over but it was necessary to just “let go” last night and finally have a night out with Anders and not worry too much about the next. Especially since we didn’t have any plans. 

So we had a slow morning and it wasn’t until 12 that we finally left our room and walked to one of the central plazas in Havana where Anders knew of a pizza place. A pizza place! In Havana! It turned out they did some pretty good pizzas so we had lunch/breakfast there before taking a taxi to the bus station for bus tickets for tomorrow. 

We are leaving for Vinales and hopefully beaches and a little more laid back pace.

Got the tickets for the bus tomorrow – and then we headed for Hotel Nacional for a drink. It was a bit cold and windy this afternoon but we still decided to sit outside and enjoy the view of Havana. Walked back along the sea, had dinner at a local restaurant and just as we had ordered food the music and dance act started. Not that we needed any noise or anything else. So we left as soon as we had finished our food. Back to Casa Miriam – to get ready for tomorrow.
