Last tango

A day dedicated to shopping. Woke up a bit late and stayed in the room enjoyed a much needed slow morning. Only plan today is to walk a bit around the shopping district and pick up some shoes and stuff for Malene. 

Left the hostel at 12 with our laundry that we handed in around the corner, and then we had a bit of walking ahead of us. Some 15 blocks until the shopping district. Pleasent surprise when we bumped into the best cafe on the way. Headed straight for a table and had the ultimate roast beef sandwich for brunch - "El special". It was good. 

Spent the next 5 hours walking, relaxing and visiting shops. Went back to the hostel and relaxed before going out for the last steak dinner in Argentina. Had a restaurant recommended that is the #1 tourist attraction in Buenos Aires. Had a table at 11 - and dinner a bit later with a nice bottle of Reserva and some bubbles. They are also good at that in Argentina. And the steaks were big and fantastic as always. Finished dinner at 1 - and walked one block to a local tango place we had recommended by the hostel. 

Place was full of people, live music and a dance floor. After watching some of the semi-pro's doing their tango moves we joined in and - well - danced our own version of tango. What a great night.
