Cayo Levisa round trip

Another beach trip today. In the opposite direction of last trip to Cayo Levisa. This time in a real “car”. Taxi that can drive a little faster than our US-museum-car. Our driver was not holding back so we did 100 most of the time for around 45 minutes before arriving at the boat that would take us to the small island where the beach is. Boat was incredibly slow but eventually we got there.

Nice white beach. Beautiful sea. Took a swim and had a drink and relaxed the rest of the day. Caught the boat back and our driver was waiting for us. He still decided to flatline the car so we did 100 when we hit a dog in the roadside and Frederik and Anders were screaming that he should slow down. Poor dog. I hope it’s in dog heaven now.

Got back to Vinales and bought tickets for the bus tomorrow to Trinidad. Had crappy dinner in town after a few drinks. Went to bed early. Long bus day ahead of us in the morning – and early departure.
