Salta

Caught a taxi to the hostel from the bus station - we did not know adress so we guessed. Really helpful people told us it was the sister hostel we were supposed to stay at. So we waited for another half hour for a taxi. Arrived at brand new hostel at 2 in the morning. Got room key and bought 2 beers in the bar for a late night cap before going to bed.
Woke up in time for breakfast - but went to bed again. Slept until 2 in the afternoon before going on a city walk. Had nice walk in deserted town where there was siesta from 13-17. Visited the town square and a few churches before finding a place to have lunch. Had a really nice meal including some local red wine.

Back to the hostel for some practicalities before our trip tomorrow. Late dinner  at hostel - at 10 - which is early in Argentina. Packed and went to bed.
