Blue Oyster car

Woke up early and headed for car rental place.
YHA in Auckland wasn't excactly the place we felt like hanging out and having an extended breakfast. No atmosphere and nothing but a place to stay for the night.

Young asian guy spent ½ hour doing the paperwork for the rental car, went with us to the car to look for damage and when we had to sign the contract he suddenly discovered that the insurance was about to expire. So we could not get that car. So we asked for a blue one and got a slightly newer Toyota Vitz. Codename = Blue Oyster Car.

Drove north for Paihia. Stopped for lunch and shopping. More sushi for lunch.
Arrived at hostel and cooked mussels for dinner. Belgian style with fries and aoli. Yum.
