Nothing like a late morning in bed

Yesterday was quite tough. Lots and lots of walking. So is there anything better than a late morning in bed. Again.

Todays goal - Big Buddha. We got on the metro (did I forget to mention the excellent breakfast in the lounge before we left?). Anyway, Train to the gondola and then we enjoyed the beautiful view and relative peace sitting with a Chinese familiy.

Said hello to the Buddha and walked a bit around the monestary before heading back for some serious afternoon tea - High tea.

It is more like a 5 course meal than tea and Langham Place was no exeption.

As mentioned in the menu:

"A spread of haute cuisine including duck liver terrine in Serrano ham on pumpkin chutney, spiced salmon tartar in papadum cone, beet and French goat cheese ravioli, seafood ceviche in gazpacho sauce, as well as some sweet goodness in the form of pavlovas, mango sushi and beet jelly with dark chocolate".

Oh, yes we like. Some more relaxing in the evening including a visit to 42-nd  floor for a swim in the out-door pool on the roof top and a relax in the jacuzzi before getting some light evening snacks, drinks and some more walking in Hong Kong by night.
