Short bus trip this morning to last stop on our trip on mainland Australia - Byron Bay. Stopped for 1½ hours in Brisbane just enough time for ticket pick up for U2 concert in Brisbane. Yes. Before the bus left for Byron bay the rain started - full tropical shower that lasted for 20 minutes. Where does all that water come from?
Arrived in the afternoon in Byron bay, went to the hostel, got a room shared with 4 others. Picked up some beers for the evening BBQ at the hostel. Found a group of guys to drink with and ended going to local bar later that night. How nice to finally go out for a good night of drinking.
